OUR STORY
Claire Jane Vranian began her creative career in the film industry at the legendary Pinewood Studios in England. In 1994, she moved to Los Angeles after being recruited by Two Hours in the Dark, a makeup effects and production company.
Over the next 17 years, Claire Jane worked on commercials, television productions, music videos and more than 40 motion pictures, surrounded by an extraordinary world of writers, directors, painters, sculptors, actors, designers and artists. That experience helped shape the creative eye and fearless individuality that would eventually become the foundation of her own brands.
In 2009, Claire Jane felt the need to create something that was completely her own. Inspired by her love of fashion, art, film and music, Inspired by Claire Jane was born—now known as ICJUK (Inspired By Claire Jane UK).
Over the years, Claire Jane has created distinctive ICJUK designs for people who don’t want to look like everyone else. Her pieces have been worn by musicians including Joe Elliott of Def Leppard and Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin, appearing on stage and in magazines around the world. Every design begins with Claire Jane and has its own story, personality and attitude.
FROM MY MOTHER’S HANDS TO MINE
But Claire Jane’s creativity has another, much more personal chapter.
Her love of making jewelry began with her mother, who taught her how to make bracelets. What started as something shared between mother and daughter grew into another creative passion and eventually became Claire Jane Art.
Today, Claire Jane personally designs and handcrafts her bracelets using beautiful gemstones, crystals, vintage treasures, unique centerpiece beads and unexpected details collected and chosen for their character. Each bracelet is created individually rather than mass-produced, meaning no two are ever exactly alike.
For Claire Jane, these aren’t simply bracelets. They are small pieces of wearable art—made by hand, inspired by a lifetime of creativity, and carrying forward something very special that began with her mother.
